Style sheets instruct your browser on how to present the web page information. The table below enables you to judge how capable is your browser of handling them.
The test does not work by identifying which browser you are using. Instead, it tests the capabilities of the browser directly, giving to it style sheet information at several levels of sophistication in order to determine which levels it can cope with.
| Colour of the "Browser Test" heading at the top of this page | Browser |
|---|---|
Black (or the default text colour in the case of text browsers) |

Orange |
Your browser is almost certainly Netscape Navigator 4 or Netscape Communicator. It does support style sheets but it is an old one with very limited capabilities. You should most definitely upgrade if you can. |
Green |

A black title and a red title side by side |
